Yes, you can absolutely use a subdomain, like blog.example.com, as a custom domain for your Ghost CMS website hosted on Magic Pages.

Setup is even simpler than connecting a root domain – a subdomain needs just a single DNS record:

1. Once you upgraded to a paid plan, log in to your Ghost admin at example.mymagic.page/ghost.
2. Click on "Customer Portal" in the left sidebar.
3. Navigate to the "Domain" tab and click on "Set up domain".
4. Enter your subdomain and continue – the **DNS setup** window will open, detect your DNS provider, and display the exact record to add in your DNS provider's dashboard.
5. After you've added the record, navigate back and click "I have added the records — verify now".
