auto finds the end of the post body in any Ghost or WordPress theme. To pick the spot yourself: before:, after:, prepend: or append: and a CSS selector.
That doesn't look like a placement yet, e.g. after:.post-content.
Only if you run your own.

The preview is live: go ahead and react. On Ghost, pressed buttons take your site's accent colour automatically; elsewhere, set --pagemoji-accent in your CSS.

Nothing on your readers' devices
No cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting. The server only keeps a count per page and emoji. IP addresses are never stored or logged.
Tiny
One script, about 3 KB compressed, and one request for every widget on the page. Nothing loads from third parties.
Fits your design
Three styles, automatic light and dark mode, and CSS custom properties for colours, spacing and shape. Animations stay off for readers who prefer reduced motion.
Open source
MIT licensed. Use our free server, or run your own with a single Docker container. Pagemoji on GitHub.
Reaction questions
Pagemoji stores nothing on your readers' devices, so there is nothing for a cookie banner to ask about. Requests carry no cookies and no referrer: only the page, the emoji, and whether it was added or removed.
