As part of the migration from Amazon SES to Mailgun as Magic Pages' email infrastructure provider, I've realigned all email limits to start from February 1st, 2025. This change ensures a clean transition and consistent billing periods going forward.
What Changed?
During December 2024 and January 2025, while your Ghost sites migrated from Amazon SES to Mailgun, email limits were not counted or enforced. Now that the migration is complete, I am resuming normal email limit tracking with the following adjustments:
- All email limit periods that ended before February 2025 have been realigned
- The new periods start on February 1st, 2025
- Each account maintains its original billing day (e.g., if your limit previously reset on the 13th of each month, it will now reset on February 13th, March 13th, etc.)
- Email counting and limit enforcement resumes from February 1st, 2025
What Do You Need To Do?
Nothing! This change has been automatically applied to all accounts. Your email limit amount remains unchanged, and you'll continue to receive notifications when approaching your limit.
